The Philadelphia Eagles released their third and final official injury report Friday ahead of their wildcard playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Two players were judged QUESTIONALLY: Josh Sweat and Nate Herbig.
Due to illness, Sweat has not trained all week. Nick Sirianni said Sweat “had some stomachaches early in the week, but he’s getting a little better every day.” It’s not often that Eagles players play a full workload after missing an entire week of practice. The latest example of a player missing three days of training due to illness was Boston Scott before the New York Jets game. Scott was active for that matchup, but only played four snaps in total (one offensive, three special teams). Of course, Sweat is a more critical player in a shallower position in a very important game. So no identical situations. It would of course be a big loss for the Eagles if Sweat cannot play as he is level with Javon Hargrave as their sacking leader.
Herbig was listed as restricted on Wednesday and Thursday, but did not practice on Friday. His status is watching. If he can’t start on the right guard, the Eagles will use Sua Opeta on that spot. Jack Anderson, who only played his first NFL snaps last week, could be the best backup behind Opeta and Landon Dickerson.
Everyone else on the active roster is ready to play. This also applies to Miles Sanders, which is good news. Nick Sirianni said there will be “no restrictions” on how the team uses Sanders, but one has to wonder if the running back is effective in certain areas. How will Sanders’ injury affect his pass-protection, pass-catching and ball protection? Sanders said his recovery is at a point where “it’s good enough to play”, but he did not indicate that he is at 100%.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS Injury Report (FRIDAY)
The Bucs ruled out No. 2 running back Ronald Jones and backup wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr., who had six catches for 81 yards and a touchdown in Week 17.
Starting cornerbacks Carlton Davis III and Sean Murphy-Bunting are both doubtful to play. Davis was a new addition to the report on Friday; it was listed as limited with an old edition. Something to monitor. In the meantime, SMEs were limited in practice all week. It can boost the Eagles’ passing game if they can’t play.
The Bucs will potentially activate three key players from the injured reserve: Leonard Fournette, Lavonte David and Giovani Bernard.
